The healthcare sector is facing a multitude of challenges: A shortage of skilled workers, an ageing society, outdated structures and a lag in digitalization. Innovative approaches are needed to solve these problems. This is precisely where the Healthcare Hackathon Regensburg comes in.

 

In interdisciplinary teams, participants spend two days developing creative, digital and technical solutions for real-life challenges in healthcare prevention, medical care and aftercare. Supported by experienced experts from the healthcare industry, they will work on concrete solutions that will help shape the healthcare system of tomorrow.

 

 

Members of universities in Regensburg and the surrounding area (Bachelor, Master, PhD) can take part in the Healthcare Hackathon Regensburg. We are looking for people with an IT background (e.g. (medical) informatics, digital health) and people with a background in medicine, health sciences (e.g. nursing, midwifery, physician assistant, physiotherapy) or medical technology (e.g. biomedical engineering). However, people who are already working, have IT skills or a healthcare background can also take part in the hackathon.
