WIN workshop: Navigating Difficult Conversations in the Workplace

No matter where you look, communication is key. It can get in the way and lead to tension and exhaustion. On the other hand, it may lead to clarity and understanding - and, sometimes it can be magic! Then it feels light, just effortless and even fun.
First of all, it requires presence, clarity and self-confidence. Moreover, it is useful to express expectations early and initiate an open exchange.
This course focusses on achieving a goal-oriented, clear communication with a reasonable dialogue structure. Goal-orientation is useful when planning a conversation or meeting and also when you wish to convincingly say “No“ with friendly professionalism. Furthermore, we will highlight the art of listening which involves understanding and adjusting to different communication styles. Among others, different feedback techniques and solution-oriented questions are useful when clarifying misunderstandings and solving difficult situations.
