The excursion to Roche Diagnostics in Penzberg on the 8th of October was a great success, and everything went smoothly overall.

We left at 7 a.m. from the Sports parking area. Despite some traffic in Munich, we arrived in Penzberg on time.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed with some refreshments and received a general introduction to Roche and its activities in Penzberg. Afterwards, the participants were divided into two groups, each receiving a guided tour of one of the two departments: Pharma and Diagnostics. After lunch, the groups switched tours, allowing everyone to gain insights into both areas.

The programme provided an interesting opportunity to learn more about Roche's work in Pharma and Diagnostics and to get a closer look at the facilities and laboratories. After the final wrap-up, we started our journey back to Regensburg and arrived at approximately 6 p.m. as planned.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable and informative excursion. We would like to thank Roche for the warm welcome and the interesting insights, as well as everyone involved in organising the trip.
