Within this years Summer Academy of the RIGeL Section Cellular Biochemistry and Biophysics from September 23 to 25, 2013 new PhD representatives has been elected. Alexander Pfab (Institute of Cell Biology and Plant Biochemistry) and Stefan Dillinger (Institute of Biochemistry III) received the necessary majority.

Alexander Pfab will take up his duties as PhD representative in October 2013. Stefan Dillinger actually is completing a research fellowship in Québec (Canada) until the end of this year which means that he will start his new mission as PhD representative in January 2014.

After two years in office Julia Wimmer (Institute of Haematology and Oncology) and Philipp Merkl (Institute of Biochemistry III) will resign from their job successively.
